About Us

A young American created Fat Tire Bike Tours in Paris, France in May 1999 and since that first day, the company has led hundreds of thousands of customers through Paris, Versailles and Normandy (Monet's Gardens) on bicycle.

In 2003 we opened the first guided Segway tour in the world - City Segway Tours. City Segway Tours is the largest Segway tour company on the planet with multiple operations in both Europe and the USA.

In 2005 we desired to offer tours in most traditional form - walking. It's a great way to explore the smaller streets and quaint neighborhoods of Paris. Classic Walks offers six tours of the city that follow either a specific theme, explore a specific neighborhood or give a complete overview of the city. We hope you will join us soon for a leisurely and informative stroll through the "City of Light".

By Far the Very Best

My name is Sara and I recently took your tour of Montmarte with Aleks. At first i was skeptical of taking a tour at all- I pride myself on being a non-touristy tourist- but it was amazing! I learned so much and Aleks is truly a performer. She had the entire group laughing, smiling, and truly enjoying themselves the whole time. She was well informed and articulate, and made her presentation fun and enjoyable to listen to. Even for days afterwards, i was telling my newly-arrived friends all sorts of interesting historical informational tidbits about Paris that I learned on the tour.

I've traveled all over the world, and have been on short tours like this in many different countries, and can honestly say that this was by far the very best!
